How To Publish on Amazon Kindle: My Webinar

Last July 1, 2020, I had a webinar called “How to Publish on Amazon Kindle”! It was my first ever webinar and I’ve spoken to over 30 people. It was stressful, amazing, and fun at the same time since, well, it was my first webinar.

The idea of this webinar was conceived a couple of months ago. My mom, Fleire Castro of Third Team Media, suggested to me that I should teach other kids, teens, and adults how to publish their own book. I thought that was a good idea during the Covid-19 pandemic.

So we got on to it. My mom, along with Janette Toral of started campaigning for the webinar. I practiced speaking and presenting. So far, everything went well!

As you can see above, this is a picture that shows the registration poster of my webinar, the date and time of my webinar, pictures of me, sponsors, organizers, webinar outline, and the title.

People started signing up. It was really sudden. I was so stoked!

In this picture above, you can see me with my mom’s webinar set. The set included a microphone with a condenser, a ring light, a swiveling chair, a bookshelf background, a computer, and many more! This is the picture we took right before the day of my webinar (and right before June ends).

When the day of my webinar finally came, I wore my best clothes (even though I’m at home), practiced some more, and got ready to meet the crowd. I knew they were all waiting for me.

Although I admitted before that speaking in front of a crowd was stressful, once I got half-way through the webinar (and past the introductions, ugh, the introductions!) I got the hang of it, and I was having fun!  In fact, I was eager to show them how to publish stuff online and I ran through the topic as if it was nothing but another presentation! In fact, the thing I have practiced the most was the introduction and the closing message! The others, I only practiced a little! I was using my memory at that time. Practicing the rest only makes it harder.

This is a picture of me and some webinar attendees!

If you ask me, I believe that anyone can do anything regardless of age if they put their mind to it and if set their goals. Also, if people would help you, then even better! No man is an island, they say.

Speaking in this webinar is one of the greatest things that I achieved at an early age.

And for those who are also young like me, (and also to those who are stuck in quarantine), I wish you all good luck during this pandemic and always remember, there is no such thing as “too young“!
